Antique Car Road Show to Benefit ALS Research, Medford, Saturday, May 21, 2011


The Medford Multicare Center for Living and the Peconic Bay Region Antique Automobile Club are coming together to help fight ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. On May 21, they are hosting “The Antique Car Road Show” to benefit A Midwinter Night’s Dream, a non-profit organization that has been helping to raise money and awareness for the disease since 2004.

In addition to the nearly 50 cars that will be on display, the show will also feature a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, an audience-voted contest for best car, and music provided by WBAB, according to marketing director Kyle Murphy.The show will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center's location at 3115 Horseblock Road in Medford.

The suggested donation is $5 per adult but the event is free for children under 12.
